Description
The AD5160 is a compact, 256-position digital potentiometer (RDAC) in a 2.9 mm x 3 mm SOT-23-8 package. It offers enhanced resolution, solid-state reliability, and low temperature coefficient performance compared to mechanical potentiometers. The wiper settings are controlled through an SPI-compatible digital interface, and the resistance between the wiper and either end of the fixed resistor varies linearly with the digital code transferred into the RDAC latch.
