Description
The ICS52501/02 are configurable clock generators that provide highquality, highaccuracy, and highfrequency clock outputs from inexpensive crystal or clock inputs. Users can configure the devices to produce various output frequencies by grounding or floating select pins, eliminating the need for microcontrollers, software, or device programmers. Using PhaseLocked Loop (PLL) techniques, the devices accept standard fundamental mode crystals to produce output clocks up to 250 MHz or generate accurate output clocks from input clocks, maintaining frequency lock.
