Ⅷ. How to judge the fault of TDA7293?


When judging the fault, we can first use a multimeter to measure whether the power supply voltage of the TDA7293 power amplifier stage (pins 13 and 15) and the front stage (pins 7 and 8) is normal. If the power supply voltage of the above pins is abnormal, we can disconnect the above pins and individually measure whether the output voltages of these positive and negative power supplies are normal. If the output voltage is abnormal, we should check the power supply circuit for faults. If the output voltage of the power supply circuit is normal after disconnecting the above pins of the TDA7293, then we need to focus on checking the TDA7293 and its related circuits. At this time, we can use the resistance setting of the multimeter to measure whether the forward and reverse resistances between pins 13, 15 and the ground terminal (pin 4) and between pins 7 and 8 and the ground terminal are normal. If a certain pin shows a small resistance, then we can determine that the internal circuitry of the TDA7293 is damaged. In addition, we also need to check whether the voltage of the standby terminal (pin 9) and silent terminal (pin 10) of the TDA7293 is normal.
