ZEISS and Dahl will increase investment in semiconductor warehouses in Taiwan, China

In order to deal with geopolitical risks, Carl Zeiss, a key supplier of ASML, and Diodes, a large manufacturer of American and commercial separated components IDM, will increase their investment in semiconductor warehouses in Taiwan, China, China.
ZEISS supplies ASML with glass lenses inside the EUV. According to Feng Media, according to the supply chain news, ZEISS started bidding at the beginning of last year to find a logistics agent to purchase and build a warehouse in Taiwan, China. Until the end of last year, the bid was officially approved, and ZEISS's semiconductor warehouse was confirmed to be located in Taiwan.
The supply chain manufacturer said that the warehouse required by ZEISS is not ordinary logistics warehouse, but a dust-free room warehouse with high specification, which needs constant temperature, isolation from the outside and filled with nitrogen.
However, the investment in ZEISS has not yet been officially announced.
In addition, Dahl will also expand its warehouse in Taiwan to meet the plan of 10% CAGR of total cargo volume in the next five years.
According to the supply chain, Dahl already has a sample warehouse in Taiwan, China, China. However, in order to reduce the proportion of manufacturing capacity in Chinese Mainland and make manufacturing bases more diversified, Dahl is planning to increase the proportion of manufacturing in Taiwan, China. Industry insiders estimate that it is likely to expand in Taiwan, China through its subsidiary Dewei, which holds more than 50% of its shares.
In this regard, Lu Kexiu, president of Dar Group, said that Dar has indeed continued to increase investment in Taiwan, China, China, both in assembly and packaging.
