XC9267: i nuovi convertitori DC/DC di Torex Semiconductor

Torex Semiconductor introduced the XC9267 series of step-down synchronous DC / DC converters for use with industrial equipment and consumer appliances powered by 12 V or 24 V lines.

The XC9267 series has a maximum input voltage of 36 V and minimum input voltage is 3.0 V. The output current is 600 mA and the higher efficiency of the new XC9267 converters, compared to the linear voltage regulators conventionally used in this sector, generates less heat.

The switching frequency can be selected between 1.2 MHz or 2.2 MHz and because the control is of the PWM type, XC9267 is characterized by a low ripple and a high efficiency. The soft-start is set internally to 2 ms, but can be adjusted to get a longer time using an external resistor and capacitor.

The integrated protection systems include an overcurrent protection circuit, one for short-circuit protection and a thermal shut-off circuit.
