Description
The VK05CFL is a monolithic device in a standard SO-8 package, utilizing STMicroelectronics' VIPower M3 Technology. It is designed for both low side and high side driving in half bridge CFL applications, enabling the creation of a complete H-bridge with two VK05CFL devices. In the high side driver (HSD) configuration, the diac pin is connected to the source pin. The device integrates diac functionality and a discharge circuit for an external diac capacitor. The nominal working frequency can be set by an external capacitor without affecting the ignition frequency.
