The Isocom Components PS2505-4 is a 4-channel high voltage 5300Vrms optoisolator with a phototransistor input, 16-pin DIP package and photovoltaic output. This product is designed to provide electrical isolation between two circuits by using an LED emitting light on one side while a phototransistor monitors the light on the other side, effectively separating the two circuits. The high density 16-pin DIP package offers a low profile solution and improved functionality with less board space. It is well suited for applications that are sensitive to EMI/RFI such as communications, data acquisition and military electronics. The PS2505-4 optoisolator is capable of withstanding up to 5300V of continuous electrical isolation, making it highly reliable and durable. In addition, its fast switching speeds make it suitable for high-speed applications.
