Description
The PI6C557-01BQ is a spread spectrum clock generator compliant with PCI Express 3.0 and Ethernet requirements. It is designed for automotive systems. The device provides one differential (HCSL) or LVDS spread spectrum output. Using Pericom's patented Phase-Locked Loop (PLL) techniques, it takes a 25MHz crystal input and produces one pair of differential outputs (HCSL) at 100MHz. It also offers spread selection of -0.5% and no spread.
