Description
The PCF8534A is a peripheral device that interfaces with low multiplex rate Liquid Crystal Displays (LCDs). It generates drive signals for static or multiplexed LCDs with up to four backplanes and 60 segments. The device can be cascaded for larger LCD applications. The PCF8534A is compatible with most microcontrollers and communicates via the two-line bidirectional I2C-bus.
