Description
The PCA9620 is a peripheral device that interfaces with low multiplex rate LCDs. It generates drive signals for static or multiplexed LCDs with up to eight backplanes, 60 segments, and 480 elements. The PCA9620 communicates via a two-line bidirectional 12C-bus and minimizes communication overheads using a display RAM with auto-incremented addressing and display memory switching. It features an internal charge pump with internal capacitors for on-chip generation of LCD driving voltages.

Programmable frame frequency (60 Hz to 300 Hz in steps of 10 Hz)
Selectable inversion scheme for LCD driving waveforms (frame or line inversion)
