Description
NCP1217D100R2 Overview
The Surface Mount technology, commonly known as SMT, has been widely used in the electronics industry since its introduction in 1960s. In 2007, SMT became the preferred method for mounting electronic components on circuit boards due to its high efficiency and reliability. One of the key factors contributing to its success is the use of Tin/Lead (Sn/Pb) as the terminal finish, which provides excellent solderability and corrosion resistance. The DUAL terminal position allows for easy placement and secure attachment of the components. With a peak reflow temperature of 240 degrees Celsius, SMT components can withstand high temperatures during the manufacturing process. Additionally, the SMT component has a single function and operates in CURRENT-MODE control, with a switching frequency of 100kHz. This ensures stable and efficient performance. The output of the SMT component is also isolated, providing protection against potential electrical hazards. Furthermore, the component has a voltage start-up of 12.8V, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
