The MCP98242 is a highly reliable and compact Temp Monitoring System (Sensor) designed for DIMM DDR Memory applications. It features an 8-VFDFN Exposed Pad package, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and commercial environments. With an operating temperature range of -40°C~125°C, this sensor can withstand extreme temperature conditions. It is packaged in Tape & Reel (TR) format, ensuring easy handling and storage. The MCP98242 was first introduced in 2009 and is currently an active product in our portfolio. It offers an impressive accuracy of ±3°C (Max) and has an internal sensor type. Additionally, this sensor also comes equipped with an output alarm for added convenience.
