Description
The MCP3001 is a 10-bit successive approximation A/D converter with on-board sample and hold circuitry. It provides a single pseudo-differential input with ±1 LSB max DNL and INL. Communication is via a simple SPI serial interface (modes 0,0 and 1,1). The device operates over a broad voltage range (2.7V-5.5V) with a sampling rate of up to 200 ksps at 5V and 75 ksps at 2.7V. It features low power consumption with a typical standby current of 5 nA and a typical active current of 400 μA. The MCP3001 is available in 8-pin PDIP, MSOP, TSSOP, and 150 mil SOIC packages.
