Description
The LTC1852 (10-bit) and LTC1853 (12-bit) are 8-channel data acquisition systems that include:
Flexible 8-channel multiplexer
400ksps successive approximation ADC
Internal reference
Parallel output interface
The multiplexer supports:
Single-ended or differential inputs
Two gain ranges
Unipolar or bipolar operation
The ADCs feature:
Scan mode for cycling through channels
Programmable sequencer for up to 16 addresses and configurations
Sequence readback from internal memory
The reference and buffer amplifier provide pin-strappable ranges of 4.096V, 2.5V, and 2.048V. The parallel output includes the conversion result and multiplexer address. Digital outputs are powered from a separate supply for easy interface to 3V logic. Power consumption is typically 10mW at 400ksps (5V supply) or 3mW at 250ksps (3V supply).
