Description
The LTC1274/LTC1277 are 12-bit, 100ksps A/D converters that consume only 10mW of power. They feature a 2µs sample-and-hold, a precision reference, and an internally trimmed clock. The converters can operate from a single 5V or ±5V supply and can convert unipolar (0V to 4.096V) or bipolar (±2.048V) inputs. The LTC1274 has a single-ended input and a 12-bit parallel data format, while the LTC1277 has a differential input and a 2-byte read format. Both converters offer two power-down modes: Sleep mode, which draws only 1µA, and Nap mode (LTC1277 only), which draws 180µA and allows for instant wake-up.
