Description
The ICL7109 is a 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) designed for easy interfacing with microprocessors and UARTs. It features:
12-bit binary plus polarity and over-range outputs
Direct interface to microprocessor bus
UART handshake mode for serial data transmission
High accuracy with low rollover error and zero reading drift
Low power consumption and input bias current
Zero-integrator phase for fast overload recovery, eliminating hysteresis and "crosstalk"
Enhanced bus driving capability
