Description
The Supertex HV860 is a high voltage driver designed for driving Electroluminescent (EL) lamps of up to 5 square inches. It operates with an input supply voltage range of 2.5 to 4.5V and uses a single inductor and a minimum number of passive components. The regulated output voltage is nominally 110V, resulting in ±110V across the EL lamp. The device features an enable pin (EN) for turning it on and off via a logic signal.
