The CS5530 is a highly integrated 24-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that uses charge-balance techniques to achieve high performance. It is optimized for measuring low-level unipolar or bipolar signals in various applications, including weigh scales, process control, scientific research, and medical devices.

Ultra-low-noise chopper-stabilized instrumentation amplifier with a gain of 64X and input current of 1200 pA
12 nV/√Hz noise density at 0.1 Hz (no 1/f noise)
Digital gain scaling up to 40x
Fourth-order delta-sigma modulator with a noise-free resolution of up to 19 bits
Scalable VREF input up to the analog supply voltage
Simple three-wire serial interface compatible with SPI and Microwire
Schmitt-trigger on serial clock (SCLK)
Onboard offset and gain calibration registers
Selectable word rates from 6.25 to 3,840 Sps
Selectable 50 or 60 Hz rejection
