Description
The CDCS502 is a crystal oscillator/clock generator with optional spread spectrum clocking (SSC). It is part of a family of easytouse clock generator devices with optional SSC. The CDCS502 features an integrated crystal oscillator with selectable output frequency and SSC. The SSC is controllable via two external pins, allowing for 10%, ±0.5%, ±1%, or ±2% center spread frequency multiplication. The device also offers selectable frequency multiplication between x1 or x4 with one external control pin. The CDCS502 operates from a single 3.3V power supply and has a wide temperature range of 40°C to 85°C. It is available in an 8pin TSSOP package.
