Description
The CDCLVP1204 is a versatile, low additive jitter buffer that generates four LVPECL clock outputs from one of two selectable LVPECL, LVDS, or LVCMOS inputs. It features an onchip multiplexer for input selection, configurable through a control terminal. With an additive jitter performance of less than 0.1 ps RMS from 10 kHz to 20 MHz and an output skew of 15 ps, it is suitable for demanding applications. The CDCLVP1204 distributes one of two clock inputs to four pairs of differential LVPECL clock outputs with minimum skew. It accepts LVPECL, LVDS, or LVCMOS/LVTTL inputs and is designed for driving 50ohm transmission lines. For highspeed performance up to 2 GHz, differential mode is recommended. The device is packaged in a 3 mm x 3 mm QFN package and operates from 40°C to 85°C.
