Description
The AFE1302 Analog Front-End from Texas Instruments is designed to reduce the size and cost of ADSL-compliant systems. It provides the active analog circuitry needed to connect an ADSL Digital Signal Processor (DSP) to external components such as line drivers, receivers, filters, hybrids, transformers, and POTS filters. The AFE1302 is optimized for downstream data rates of 4Mbps and higher, operating at a clock rate of 35.328MHz with an output word rate of up to 8.832MWords/s.

Applications

Control the VCXO (Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillator)
