Description
The ADS8412 is a 16-bit, 2 MHz analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with an internal 4.096-V reference. It features a 16-bit capacitor-based SAR ADC with inherent sample and hold. The ADS8412 offers a full 16-bit interface and an 8-bit option where data is read using two 8-bit read cycles.
The ADS8412 has a unipolar differential input range of Vret to -Vrat. It includes an onboard reference buffer and a high-speed parallel interface. The device has a power dissipation of 175 mW at 2 MHz and is available in a 48-lead TQFP package.
