Description
The ADS8380 is a high-performance 18-bit, 600-kHz analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with a single-ended (pseudo-differential) input. It features an 18-bit capacitor-based SAR ADC with inherent sample and hold. The ADS8380 offers a high-speed CMOS serial interface with clock speeds up to 40 MHz. It includes an onboard reference buffer, a 4.096-V reference, an onboard conversion clock, and selectable output formats (2's complement or straight binary). The ADS8380 has zero latency, a wide digital supply, and low power consumption.
