Description
The ADS7807 is a low-power, 16-bit, sampling Analog-to-Digital (A/D) converter utilizing advanced CMOS structures. It comprises a complete 16-bit, capacitor-based, Successive Approximation Register (SAR) A/D converter with sample-and-hold, clock, reference, and microprocessor interface with parallel and serial output drivers.

Fast acquisition and conversion: 25μs max
High accuracy: ±1.5LSB max INL/DNL, 16 bits, no missing codes
Excellent signal-to-noise ratio: 86dB min SINAD with 1kHz input
Wide input range options: ±10V, 0V to 5V, and 0V to 4V
Single 5V supply operation
Parallel and serial data output
Pin-compatible with the 12-bit ADS7806
Internal or external reference option
Available in 0.3" DIP-28 and SO-28 packages
