Description
The ADS5204 is a dual 10-bit, 40 MSPS analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that simultaneously converts two analog input signals into 10-bit digital words at a maximum sampling rate of 40 MSPS per channel. It operates on a single 3.3-V supply and features differential or single-ended analog inputs, programmable gain amplifiers (PGAs) with a gain range of 0 dB to 18 dB, and separate serial control interfaces. The ADS5204 also has single or dual parallel bus outputs, a 60-dB SNR at fiN = 10.5 MHz, a 73-dB SFDR at fIN = 10.5 MHz, and a low power consumption of 275 mW. It has a 300-MHz analog input bandwidth, 3.3-V TTL/CMOS-compatible digital I/O, and internal or external reference options. The ADS5204 is available in a TQFP-48 package and is characterized for operation from -40°C to 85°C.
