Description
The ADS1253 is a high-precision, wide dynamic range, delta-sigma Analog-to-Digital (A/D) converter with 24-bit resolution. It operates from a single 5V supply and utilizes a delta-sigma architecture for wide dynamic range and 24-bit no missing code performance. The ADS1253 achieves an effective resolution of 19 bits (1.8ppm of rms noise) for conversion rates up to 20kHz.
The ADS1253 is designed for high-resolution measurement applications in various fields, including cardiac diagnostics, smart transmitters, industrial process control, weigh scales, chromatography, and portable instrumentation. It features a flexible 2-wire synchronous serial interface for low-cost isolation.
