Description
The ADF4351 is a wideband synthesizer with an integrated VCO. It can be used to implement fractionalN or integerN phaselocked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizers. The device has an output frequency range of 35 MHz to 4400 MHz. It also has a programmable divideby1/2/4/8/16/32/64 output, which allows the user to generate RF output frequencies as low as 35 MHz.
The ADF4351 has a number of features that make it ideal for use in wireless applications. These features include:
Low phase noise VCO
Programmable dualmodulus prescaler of 4/5 or 8/9
Programmable output power level
RF output mute function
3wire serial interface
Analog and digital lock detect
Switched bandwidth fast lock mode
Cycle slip reduction
