Description
The AD73322 is a dual analog front-end processor designed for general-purpose applications, including speech and telephony. It features two 16-bit A/D conversion channels and two 16-bit D/A conversion channels, each providing high signal-to-noise ratios (78 dB for ADC and 77 dB for DAC) over a voiceband signal bandwidth.
The AD73322 incorporates an input-to-output gain network in both analog and digital domains, allowing for impedance matching and scaling when interfacing with Subscriber Line Interface Circuits (SLICs). It is suitable for various applications in speech and telephony, such as low bit rate compression, speech enhancement, recognition, and synthesis.
The low group delay characteristic of the AD73322 makes it ideal for single or multichannel active control applications. It operates on a single supply voltage ranging from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, consuming only 73 mW of power at 3.0 V. The device includes an on-chip reference voltage for single-supply operation, programmable to accommodate either 3 V or 5 V.
