Description
The AD637 is a high-precision, wideband RMS-to-DC converter that computes the true RMS value of complex waveforms. It offers exceptional accuracy with a maximum nonlinearity of 0.02% for inputs ranging from 0 V to 2 V RMS. The AD637 also features a crest factor compensation scheme that allows for measurements of signals with crest factors up to 10 with less than 1% additional error.
The AD637 has a wide bandwidth, capable of measuring signals up to 8 MHz at 2 V RMS input and 600 kHz at 100 mV RMS. It can compute true RMS, square, mean square, or absolute value, and provides an auxiliary dB output with a 60 dB range.
