Description
The AD7572 is a complete, 12-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC) that combines high speed performance with low CMOS power consumption. It utilizes a successive-approximation loop with an accurate, high-speed DAC and comparator to achieve fast conversion times of 5 μs (AD7572XX06) and 12.5 μs (AD7572XX12). The on-chip buried Zener diode provides a stable reference voltage, ensuring low drift performance over the full temperature range. The AD7572 also features an on-chip clock circuit that can be used with a crystal for standalone operation or driven by an external clock source.
