Description
The ICS501 LOCO™ PLL Clock Multiplier is a costeffective solution for generating highfrequency clock outputs from lower frequency crystal or clock inputs. It utilizes PhaseLocked Loop (PLL) techniques to produce output clocks up to 160 MHz using inexpensive fundamental mode crystals. The device stores nine different multiplication factors in its ROM, allowing it to output various common frequencies. It also features an output enable pin for tristating the clock output.
