To protect the mechanical temperature sensors from damage, we pack them in Cylinder with Mounting Flange packages. This electronic part cannot operate below -29°C for it to function properly. Mechanical temperature sensors, however, can reach 260°C at their maximum operating temperature. For an indefinite period, a mechanical temperature sensor will carry 3A current. In an AC circuit, mechanical temperature sensors should not carry more than 120V voltage.
