Protecting the mechanical temperature sensors is achieved by putting them in Cylinder with Mounting Flange packages. There is a minimum operating temperature of -29°C that must be met by this electronic part for it to function properly. Temperature sensors with mechanical components can, however, reach 260°C. The maximum current that a mechanical temperature sensor can carry for an indefinite period of time is 3A. In an AC circuit, the mechanical temperature sensors should not carry more voltage than 120V.
