Description
2N5460 Description


2N5460 is a type of P-channel JFET amplifier. This is a three-terminal unipolar semiconductor device used in electronic switches, resistors and amplifiers. It expects a high degree of isolation between input and output, which makes it more stable than bipolar junction transistors. Unlike BJTs, the amount of current allowed is determined by the voltage signal in the JFET. Its working principle is to control the output current by changing the conductivity of the channel by voltage.
