New BP0805 Thin Film Band Pass Filter of AXV Corporation

AVX Corporation, a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced electronic components and interconnect, sensor, control, and antenna solutions, introduced new 0805-case BP Series multilayer, integrated thin film (ITF) band-pass filters. Designed for broad compatibility with a wide range of high-frequency wireless applications, including mobile communications systems, satellite TV receivers, GPSs, vehicle-locating systems, and wireless LANs, the series is available in five frequency bands spanning 1,308MHz to 4,320MHz with 50Ω characteristic impedance, and is rated for 5W continuous power, and operating temperatures spanning -40°C to +85°C. The new surface-mount band-pass filters also exhibit low insertion loss and sharp roll-off, delivering excellent high-frequency performance in an ultraminiature, low-profile case measuring just 2.03mm x 1.55mm x 0.8mm (±0.1mm), and are ruggedly constructed and packaged on tape and reel for reliable automatic assembly. 

The BP0805 Band Pass Filter is based on thin-film multi-layer technology. The technology provides a miniature part with excellent high frequency performance and rugged construction for reliable automatic assembly.

The ITF Filter is offered in a variety of frequency bands compatible with various types of high frequency wireless systems.
