Delta Electronics cooperates with JTC to establish an industrial 4.0 ecosystem in Singapore

Delta Electronics revealed that its subsidiary Delta Electronics International (Singapore) will sign a memorandum of understanding with the Singapore government-sponsored JTC Corp for strategic cooperation to establish an Industry 4.0 ecosystem in Southeast Asian countries.

Delta Air Lines said it will use Delta's intelligent manufacturing hardware/software and experience to build an Industry 4.0 solution and training center to provide solutions for JTC's customers and small and medium-sized businesses to help Singapore transform its manufacturing.

Delta Air Lines said it will help Singaporean universities participate in the annual Damei Cup Advanced Automation Design Competition, which promotes smart manufacturing. The 2019 competition was held in Delta's factory in eastern China in July. A total of 230 university teams participated.

The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding is scheduled to take place on October 24th at the Asia-Pacific Industrial Transformation Conference (ITAP) in Singapore from October 22nd to 24th. This is the Asia-Pacific version of the Hannover Messe in Germany, which was held in 2019.
